In 1939, she met Harry Yegan at the Holy Trinity Armenian Church, and they were married the following year. They were blessed to have two sons: Richard "Richie" Yegan, born in 1942, and Kenneth "Kenny" Yegan, born in 1947. Both sons were Liz's pride and joy. She got her "girls" with the births of her two granddaughters, Ashley and Lindsay. She was their beloved "Nana". Liz worked for the Fresno County Health Department as an executive secretary for 22 years. She rose to the highest level in her job classification, due to both her wonderful work ethic and her warm, dependable way. Liz was also an accomplished knitter and crocheter. Her work was so lovely that she was sought after to knit custom dresses and evening gowns for women of the community. After retirement, Liz and Harry traveled many times to both Europe and the Caribbean.
